Leggy holly willoughby reveals she was forced to change after her skirt after fans react

The 37-year-old this Morning host's legion of followers were left devastated on Tuesday as she revealed her latest stunning look was vetoed due to the fact her skirt was deemed too short for breakfast television.

Her stylist Angie Smith shared an image of her chic gingham mini with the simple caption: 'The one that got away #TooShortForTM', before being met with uproar from fans who claimed 'the shorter the better' for the stunning star.

Many fans protested the decision, as they gushed in the comment section: 'Not fair on you giving you such short skirts, lovely legs holls, but a tad uncomfortable in your job XXX... It’s the same length as the one you wore isn’t it? X...

'Today’s outfit is no longer than this!! They are both gorgeous and I wouldn’t say too short at all Xx... if you look as good as her then why not... The other one looks shorter? @hollywilloughby both are gorgeous though...

'It’s just most the oldies that deem it too short... You look so beautiful Holly. The shorter the skirt the better because you have a great pair of legs...

'It’s the same length as the one she’s got on... Did they use a measuring tape as I cant see that its shorter... both look fab... Looks the same length as the other post... too short? You have never had this issue before.'

Others however insisted she does sometimes appear uncomfortable in her ensembles as users wrote: ' This is why she uses papers or ipad on her lab while sitting down..

'Its obviously too short for day time TV lovely look but is it necessary if your having to cover up with props... Def too short Holly!'

The night before the show, Angie revealed she was using FaceTime to plot the week's coming styles as she shared an image of the star on the phone.
Last year, Angie said of styling Holly: 'She has an amazing hourglass figure, so she suits fitted, tailored shapes... All her looks have to work 360 because we never know what she'll be doing that day....

'Stripes and checks can strobe on TV, so they are a big no, sadly. We both love colour, so I always try and pack in as much as that as possible, as I think it really works for the show.'
