Dad spotted fishing in living room following harvey hurricane flood disaster
A fisherman had the opportunity to fish in his own living room following Hurricane Harvey which caused flood water to ravage his house, bringing fish with it.
The dad, whose house in Houston was destroyed in the disaster, caught a fish with his bare hands in the flood water on Saturday. In a video which has been shared online, he's seen suddenly diving into the water to catch a fish and pull it out by the tail.
Viviana Saldaña filmed the moment and posted it on Facebook. She wrote: "Why go out looking for food when the food comes to our living room? My dad wants y’all to recognize his fishing skills."
At least six people have been killed by Hurricane Harvey since the disaster hit Houston. The rising water chased thousands of people to rooftops or higher ground and overwhelmed rescuers who could not keep up with the constant calls for help, but Viviana Saldaña and her father were able to find a bright spot in the gloom.
