Photos : Quavo thinks he has a shot at being quater back for houston texans
We've seen a few feats of athleticism from Migos member Quavo before, but does he have what it takes to play quarterback in the NFL? He thinks so, and wants the Houston Texans to give him a call.
On Monday Dec. 25, the banged up Texans had to insert their fourth quarterback this year, when Taylor Heinicke entered the game. For some backstory, both Heinicke and Huncho played high school football in Gwinnett County, Ga., with Huncho playing QB for Berkmar High School and Heinicke leading the Collins Hill High School Eagles in the late 2000s. Heinicke went on to play college ball at Old Dominion University in Virginia, and Quavo started a life of trap rapping.
It is unclear whether they faced off against each other on the field, but someone clearly thought to make the comparison.
Quavo recently posted a screenshot of a headline he captured on his Instagram page which does just that.
“Details on Texans Playing a Quarterback Who Was Only Slightly Better Than Migos’ Quavo in High School,” it reads. "Just call me Houston. True story too." he captioned the screenshot, while adding the Texans' IG handle.
Texans' star wide receiver DeAndre Hopkins chimed in under the post, “Come try out.”
Quavo has delivered some impressive throws in the past, but it might just be wishful thinking to assume he could step on an NFL field and make plays, right?
