Missouri father turn son in for cops after finding porn on mobile phone

A  father turned his son into police after finding child pornography on his cellphone.Andrew Spensberger, 17, faces child pornography charges, and is being held on a $10,000 cash bond, reported the The Kansas City Star.

Spensberger’s father, Paul, confiscated his son’s cellphone on December 30 in punishment for other misbehavior, including theft, when he discovered images of a naked two-year-old asleep.

Police said the child was a relative of Paul Spensberger’s girlfriend.

The teenager admitted taking the pictures and told his father he hoped to sell them to a classmate he suspected of being a pedophile, reported The St. Louis Post-Dispatch.

He reportedly hoped to get $350 for the images which he planned to use to pay off debts.

“I was disgusted,” Paul Spensberger told The Daily Mail of his reaction to the images.

The father, who owns a construction company, said he refused to pay his son’s bail.

“He feels like s**t,” the dad said. “He feels remorse, and he is scared, he’s facing time in prison. I could go and get him, but he needs to learn.”
