Ewan McGregor kissed his Fargo co-star Mary Elizabeth Winstead before heading onstage to collect his Critics' Choice Award for the show on Thursday.

Mary and Ewan are now in a relationship, and are both estranged from their spouses - Riley Steams and Eve Mavrakis, respectively.

When Ewan, 46, got to the stage to collect his gong for Outstanding Lead Actor in a Limited Series or a Movie, he gave a gushing speech that included thanks to his fellow actors on the series, Mary included.

The dashing Trainspotting actor played two characters on the latest season of the FX anthology series, which was created by Noah Hawley.

During his speech, Ewan offered a 'Thank you to Warren, to FX, MGM brah that’s what we used to call you on set, MGM brah  and Noah, for putting together this amazing team to make this, to give us these great scripts and amazing storylines and great characters, and really for the great directors that you gave us to work with.'

He also showered praise on 'the crew in Calgary, because it’s an amazingly cold place, Calgary, and the crews there are amazing.

'Like, it’s minus 40 degrees and they’re there, and they kept us warm, and they kept it the whole machine moving. And they’re amazing, really, the people in Calgary.


'So, I want to thank you for all that, especially Gail Kennedy, who did all my prosthetic makeup to make me Ray, and she did an amazing job, and Chris Glimsdale who did my hair or lack of hair for both those characters. So, thank you especially to them.'

'Thank you to all of our actors... and Mary,' he said, thanking his girlfriend.

Ewan showed up to the awards show - which was held at Santa Monica's Barker Hangar wearing a camouflage suit, black bow tie and white pocket square.


Black and white platform sneakers rounded out his ensemble.

The Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) has rescued crash victims involved in a lone accident on the Lagos /Ibadan Expressway and returned over N2million recovered from the  scene to the mother of the owner. Mr Clement Oladele, the FRSC Sector Commander in Ogun,in Abeokuta on Saturday. Police arrest Lagos most notorious cultist

The most wanted cultist in Lagos, Kanmi, also known as Father, has been arrested by the State Police Command.Father was declared wanted by the police after he was recently released from the prison, Father was reportedly feared by cult groups within Mushin, Itire, Lawanson and Ilasamaja areas of the state. It was further gathered that while he was in detention, cult activities and war reduced, but as soon as he was released, there was a marked escalation of rival cult wars. Following the cult war that started after his release, Commissioner of Police Imohimi Edgal, ordered Police detectives to fish out Father and his alleged killer gang members. The command’s Public Relations Officer, Mr Chike Oti, said: “Based on credible intelligence available to us that some cultists led by Kanmi alias Father were planning to strike in Ilasamaja community on March 29, the Commissioner of Police, Lagos State, directed the Divisional Police Officer of Ilasamaja, SP.
